Wassenar, a Chiropractic Physician since 1983, is committed to empowering his patients towards optimum health. He believes that the body is made to move well at any age and treats patients from ages three months to over ninety years to improve movement, alleviate pain, and maintain optimal well-being. Our practice effectively uses a patient-centered approach to health and wellness by combining the most effective hands-on techniques, physiotherapy, nutritional counseling, nutritional supplements, and acupuncture. With this approach, Dr. Wassenar is able to assist his patients as they achieve and maintain optimal wellness.

Techniques Used

Dr. Wassenar's practice utilizes a variety of techniques including Diversified (National Meric), Sacro-Occipital Technique, Applied Kinesiology, Gonstead, Acupuncture, and Orthotics. These techniques are designed to address a range of ailments such as Chronic Pain, Joint Pain, Low Back Pain, Muscle Spasms, Rib Pain, TMJ, Sports Injuries, Foot Pain, Sciatica, Low Back Pain, Headaches, and Abdominal Issues.

Education and Experience

Dr. Wassenar earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in 1983. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the same institution. Dr. Wassenar has completed advanced studies with certificates in Meridian Therapy, Acupuncture, Nutrition, and Physiotherapy. He continues to participate in continuing education seminars in Nutrition, Orthopedics, and Radiology.
